Thumbs up GB Feeler: Lightweight Stock Diameter Crank Pulley

I have been communicating with Auto Specialties Performance about their custom lightweight stock diameter crank pulley and any discounts they would offer for buying in quantity. This should be perfect for people running superchargers. Right now they charge $125.00 each since each one is a custom job. If I can get 30 people interested they will drop the price to around $65.00 each. Getting 30 people interested is going to be a stretch so I thought I would start this feeler first. Anyone interested please PM me or reply here.

They are telling me that the pulley will weigh around 2 pounds. I think that the OEM pulley weighs close to 6. I don't know the exact weight. One thing to mention is that they offer each individual pulley in the following hard anodized colors at no additional cost.

red
green
black
silver
blue
purple

So are there going to be the same questions about this as about the UR pulley? Sounds promising, but I'll say I'll keep it in mind, maybe not a definite "IN" just yet...

I'll consider it, depending on the quality of the part

I have a UR pulley on my car right now that I can probably sell, replace with this one, and still make out with a few extra bucks

Yes and no. It should allow the engine to rev a little faster since it is lighter but you're not going to see any major gains with this I am guessing. They have not shipped any yet but, once they do, I will have more info and hopefully pictures.

just a shot here, but maybe you could find a few places that install superchargers and see if they would buy a few just to have in stock

This pulley is the same diameter as the stick pullet unlike the UR pulley which is smaller.

Right now I have about 15 or so people "interested". Since it takes at least 30 pieces ordered, I am going to wait until I have a few more people before I turn this into an official GB and post the final price.

I installed mine earlier this week and it weighs a little less than 4 pounds. I didn't weigh it but the shipping box said exactly 4lbs on it. The box was small and didn't weigh 2lbs.
