Did you break the splines going into the hub? or the cv joint itself?? I have broken the joint in the past but the splines are usually the weak point... It sucks but it will cost you roughly $500 for a new one from the dealer and over $1200 for aftermarket..
I'd call performance nissan or try www.car-part.com that site is a inventory of a lot of junkyards around the US.
sorry to hear about your loss but what were your #'s if i could ask...just curious you broke the axle im just wondering what you could have been running launching this hard...im very sorry though about your car im sure you will get it fixed/resolved. Best of luck though...

Wow guys.... thanks for ur concern and help. I am really touched
I was launching @ 4k and was aiming to get sub 13.8 that day(which is the best for a 350z here and my best).
But it wasn't the stress that broke it, it was the massive hopping and vibration

sorry to hear your problem as well, but also thanx for the heads up on the hopping on DR's. i have a set of DR's on 17's i was going to use....mabey i wont!
if you dont mind me asking were you heating them up for max grip? or just nailing it with them cold? mabey i could still use the DR's w/o heat cycling them for slight improvement while not chancing the breakage of my axles!
