yea that would be another option.... booger do you have a site on the G35 V8 upgrade ? or a thread link ? i just figure its alot cheaper to go this route than to stroke out the z to 4.3 L. Darn custom exhaust headers would skyrocket the price also because im sure that would have to be customized to snake in the tiny engine bay..... is it me or does everyone else hate how there is the battery and break fluix boxes that are blocked off by a metal sheet. really cramps the engine bay and does little for strength.

i meant that if i got a titan 5.6 in the Z, the headers off that motor woudnt fit and have the right pitch if they were to fit in the z. I just think its another option vs. forced induction. Plus although the z has the best v6 exhaust note IMO, you cant beat the noise of a V8. I can't really afford to forge and blow out a Z any time soon so I was just wondering if the 5.6 swap or any v8 swap could be done. a boss 302 would fit pretty easily in that compartment i think but i just figured a nissan motor would be less hectic with electrical. any ideas on cost for a motor swap and do you think it would mait up to the Z tranny?

$3500 for just the engine, for $1000 more you can get a Turbonetics single turbo kit and have reliable power and not have to wait longer than 8-10 hours for the install.
Add $3800 for pistons, rods, and ARP head and main studs INSTALLED and you can be boosting around 420-460rwhp reliably.
There is a reason no one has done current model engines swapped to the Z.
Don't think you'll be able to do ANY swap for the 350Z (other than another VQ35DE) for cheap.
