Do grounding kits replace?
When you get a grounding kit, do you replace existing wires with the grounding kit wires? I'm just curious if your upgrading wires that are already in place or are you attaching them where there aren't any.
Thanks!

Grounding wires don't really do much for you it's mostly just for looks. I would suggest you get the Max Grounding kit, does not cost much and does the same job as all other expensive grounding kits.
Thanks for the reply jaki. Well I'm mainly doing it for my upcoming audio installation. I'll be running JL 1000/1 and 300/4 amps along with some other electronics, so I was hoping to reduce voltage drops with the grounding kit. What do you think its best for? Are the claims of smoother acceleration and throttle response true?
Thanks
Thanks
When I installed my Grounding kit, I hardly noticed any changes, the only tiny thing I have noticed is that my idle was a little smoother than before. Here is a link where you can get all 7 Ground Wires, when I bought mine they only had 5. I took if off after I installed my Greddy TT kit, not sure if I will put it back on or sell it.

No a ground kit doesn't replace any of your existing wires. It just adds to the grounding system of your car. Some may replace the ground wire coming off your battery, but that's pretty rare. either way, they all do the same thing.
