installed stillen damper
GOD what an INSANE pain in the *** the install was... had to quit couple of time because I was cursing too much, lol. If you have big hands, get someone else to do it. Instructions aren't too clear, but install is pretty intuitive.
In my case it was a perfect bolt-on. I read many stories of the brace having wrong holes, mine was perfect. I don't know if it stillen who fixed it, or I have a matching car. (march 2003).
Drove just a couple of miles with it, and love it already. Car feels more responsive even in normal driving. I did not notice any increased cabin vibration. The engine still can move a little, it's not a solid mount. Will post better impressions when I have time to beat crap out of car.
thumbs up from me, reccomends.

Drove some more
Haven't noticed any particular increase in shifter rattle. Shifter feel has improved, shifts are "crispier" and more precise, especially hard shifts at redline. Another bonus, is that I hit the revlimiter and the cutoff was not has traumatic as before, it was pretty smooth.
The only negative thing I have noticed is that I now have an odd rattle under low rpm load(like 1200rpm). It's very faint and very short, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't there before. I'll check if I left something loose.
Wheelhop is exactly the same has before
