Black350 -
A couple of washers are used underneath the strut bar to raise it about 1/2". The hood however, does not get in the way at all.

My question is , I dont need to buy an aftermarket plenum if I have this spacer?
Are the gains similar/same, between spacer and aftermarket plenum?
If it is I am in.

The gains are terrific....but an honest comparision between a plenum and a spacer is difficult. The biggest thing for us is we wanted to maintain the strut bar and cover. We wanted to gain good power. And we wanted to have a strong unit that would withstand the rigors of the engine bay and potentially forced induction.
Hope that helps
Thanks Dave
