Default Stillen Intercooler Install

Anyone install their own Stillen Intercooler? I have the Stage 1 and want to go to Stage 2. Anyone do this on their own? Any words of advice please.

Nope, I didn't have any help at all, all by myself. However, I bought the kit with the intercooler already.

Did you install it yourself to begin with? If so, you are familiar with how hard it is to get the rear center hex head bolt off the intake plenum (right below the 7th injector). I replaced that with a standard 10mm head bolt and washers, so I could use a ratcheting box wrench.

Other than removing and reinstalling that one bolt, it will be very easy and straight forward. in a nutshell:
remove top half of plenum and supercharger
remove baffle from lower plenum
install heat exchanger in top half of plenum
remove bumper
install intercooler, and electric pump
relocate radiator overflow to left wheel well
install intercooler resorvoir in place of the overflow
plumb and wire it and fill the system.

should take 4 hours max and stillens instructions are about the best I've ever come across. no drilling, cutting, etc. everything bolts to existing holes and moutning points.

I had a Nissan Delaer do it. I think I will have them do the Intercooler. Thats something I haven't done before and do not want to screw it up. I could easily do the radiator though. I think I will be buying a Koyo next week and installing myself.

Are you going to Zdayz?
