Question traction control

i have a stange problem with my z and wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this problem and if so what is the cause and solution. everytime i turn right at freeway speeds the traction control goes of and the car twitches. this just started recently and is very annoying. does anyone else have this problem?????????????

Do you have stock rims & tires? I've never heard of this happening, but it sounds like an issue with the TCS or VDC . . .

i do have rims and tires. but ive had those for a long time and the problem just started. F245/40-18 R275/45-18

275-45 sounds like too big of a sidewall.... not that there's a limit or anything but your front tires are 245-40. That's a really short sidewall. That means your wheels are gonna be spinning at different speeds. No big deal except that if your front and rear wheels aren't spinning at close to the same ratio as they were from stock, the tcs will freak out. Keep this thread alive, someone else who knows more can verify what I've said.

OR YOU CAN just turn off the bloody tcs...

yeah but ive had this tire setup for a year and half and the problem started last week. and it only happens when making a right turn at freeway speeds.

yeah i hear that... but, at higher speeds the propensity for error increases since the relationship is a ratio. On the other hand, I don't know why slower spinning wheels would cause it to activate.
