Thumbs up Max Grounding System Review

This is a very nice kit with all the hardware, great instructions, and really high quality wires. its a bit pricey but i think its worth it. i went with the six wire kit in silver.

check it out here: http://www.courtesyparts.com/Merchan...Category_Code=

pretty easy to install except for one bolt....kept dropping that sucker down into my bumper and then had to retrieve it each time. its the far left one in the photo that goes under the brake fluid resevior. i need to get a telescopic magnet....that would make things like this much easier.

included a photo for you as well....what do you think.

i just installed my crawford cast plenum and strut bar; also the utr carbon fiber intake tube too....overall not a bad looking engine bay.

Did you notice any difference at all or did you do it primarily for looks?

mainly for the look. Also, expect the color will change because of the heat from your engine bay.

The MaxGround wires have chrome mylar sheathing covering the plastic-covered cable (clear, blue, red cables in the MaxGrounds) - have had mine on for almost a year now with no fading of the mylar. The mylar sheathing pretty much hides the colored cables so any fading of the color is not noticeable. Previously I had the standard red grounding wires & the heat faded them a bit after about 4 months.

well i really was hoping a little something would happen performance wise...but imo thiis does nothing for performance at all.

the max ground link i gave you actually post dynos with a performance gain....maybe just not enough to feel. it does seem to idle a bit more steady but thats about all i have noticed since installing the kit

this is a really quality kit with beefier wires than i have seen on other kits. the wires seem almost steel braided if you will. its a nice compliment to anyone who has the crawford plenum because the wires are more exposed so you can see them.

I was asking the original thread poster for his input, not your opinion.

Most of the reviews I've read echo this. It doesn't make the car feel any faster (I highly doubt it really adds any power) but most seem to say it does smooth out the idle a bit and improve throttle response.

i was wondering about the other kit from maxground thats 180....its all one piece. another words, the wires are all connected together so its like one long wire vs this kit which had six seperate wires.

would this perform better or ground better....otherwise why would you pay 80 more dollars for about the same in material?

bottom line...i would recommend this kit for its quality, ease of instructions and fast shipping. they are also competively priced with other kits and have a nice web site with tons of info on their product....including dynos.

rw....ouuuuuuut
