I never had my previous Z dynoed. Right now Im running Crawford High Flow Cats, JWT Pop Charger, UR Crank pulley. I will be installing a Crawford plenum and headers(not at liberty to say who the maker is at this point) probably sometime in the next few weeks and will go for another dyno run with the headers.

yes, it would seem that the new rev up 300hp motors take to bolt ons much easier than some of the 287 engines...

Wow! I'm jealous. What was the temp?
I dyno'ed today and ran 239 rwhp and 234 trq and the temp was 95-96 degrees.

How are those nice numbers?, My 2003 dynode at 242hp stock, I'd expet the 2005 to dyno 10-15hp more. Running Crawford High Flow Cats, JWT Pop Charger, UR Crank pulley, seems to have gained no improvement.

It's really not a useful number . . . no matter what, everyone's dyno results will merely produce a scatterplot. Different machines, different climates, blah, blah, blah. Now if he simply added a mod, then dynoed the same day, then we would have a discussion. BUT, by no means, can we say X is a good / bad number. Too many variables to contain.

I really thought you would of made more then that. I made nearly that when I was stock, but every dyno is different.

It wouldve helped if I had ran a base run before all the mods but didnt have the time to do it. Im sure if I had it dynoed on a different dyno the outcome would have not been the same but to be honest I was expecting a little more than that myself but like 350G said, there are a lot of different variables involved and the fact that my car hasnt even really been broken into yet. Well I hope the headers I put on today will do something!

Thats what I'm thinking. I dyno'd my 05 6mt G35 and got 241rwhp, SAE corrected stock. Assuming that the Z's have less DT loss you would think it would atleast be in the mid to upper 240's stock....right?

Edit: looking more into it though, I thought it was known that the pop charget and pulley's did nothing for our cars anyways
