Was wondering if anyone knows the top speed you can go in each gear before hitting redline? Thanks

doesn't the manual say?
at least for the first 3 gears...

 

i did browse through the manual but didn't see it, its probably in there though, and funny thing is i've actually been trying to figure out where the search button is

 

I believe it's 35, 60, 85, 110 is what i thought but i might be wrong i dunno after that though but those are the maximum allowed speed in each gear

 

I know for a fact 5th gear maxes out and hits the rev-limiter at 146mph.

 

Depends on what final drive you have and RPM limit.

 

I have a 5AT car, my 3rd gear tops out at about 104-105 and my 4th gear at redline shifts at about 136, so if I was manually shifting I might be able to get 137-138 out of it

 

My 4th maxes out at 120.

If you search this forum...I made a complete gear chart for both the 3.9 and the 3.5.

 

speaking of flashed ECU's can i just go to a dealer and ask for the reflashed ECU?

 

Hell no. You either have to send it Technosquare, or go to Altered Atmosphere in Maryland and get it done....

You know "indicated" isn't "actual", right? Most cars are off by about 10% or more at that speed. You were probably about 140. Look at the GPS speed on your phone for an accurate number.
