I am swapping out my 3.3 FD with a 3.5 FD in the next few weeks. I have the Vortech SC and am wanting faster acceleration and track times.
Does the fluid have to be drained when removing the pumpkin? I plan on adding better fluid when I do the swap. So, what fluid is everyone running and what is the best out there? Who has the best prices on this stuff?
TIA?
Zach

I run Redline 75W-90....that standard stuff has a friction modifier in it. I switched to this after breaking in my Nismo diff on the Nismo fluid....Its MUCH quiter now and runs great. I may be switching to Amsoil soon though....Its easier to get my hands on. Also when I contacted Nismo about what oil to use post break in they said to run Royal Purple 75W-90....I just find out that Pep Boys carries this now so thats something to consider.
