Default Pi-Thon Locks and Samco Hoses

Anyone have fitment issues when using the Pi-Thon locks with Samco hoses? I had a very tough time getting the locks to work with the Samco upper radiator hose. Also, I couldn't get half of the Pi-Thons on the OEM hoses, let alone the thicker Samco. Is there any DIY for Pi-Thon? The instructions provided were very lacking.

I installed all four Samcos, I used Pi-Thons on the upper radiator hose and the by-pass hose. I used the stock clamps for the lower radiator hose and bought some other hose clamps (the circle with a screw to tighten) for the heater hose (i believe that is what it is called).

Any input/ suggestions is appreciated.

when you order Pi-thon lock, did you order the one FOR samco hoses? You will have to let them know because they come in different size.

DOH

I had the Pi-Thon locks sitting in the garage for about 3 months. I picked up the hoses last week, so I figured "I'll get both done at once"... should have considered the size differentials...

an expensive mistake...

Thanks
