My engine build is coming along, I sold the Stillen SC, & I just received my APS TT along with a ton of extra parts.
One thing I'm worried about is my tranny.I've installed the Stillen VB & am curious to know if a torque converter would be a good idea.
So here are my questions:
What's the best brand?
What is a good stall for a TT 5AT?
Does anyone have a similar setup?
What's your whp on your TT 5AT?
Thanks
Wes

weslutes....congrats on your build-out!
What's the best brand? Dunno...have been shopping this for a while now...hate to advertise, but add this group to your shopping list....match them up against the other companies you get...http://www.protorque.com
As far as a good stall for the TT, I am going to get the TQ after the ST install.....my plan is to try to match my stall to the onset of the the torque curve. I do not want to sacrifice drivability here, but I want my stall higher on the slope of the torque curve......first you want to find out where it currently is,,,,,then adjust from there. Note: I plan to work closely with my tuner on this.
