Default What would you do?

If you had between 1-1.5 k to spend on only performance mods for a 350z, what would you buy?

Thanks

Jon

Oh, and I am not a noob, I have an RSX-S now, which handles certain performancesmods differently. I just wanted to see what may be effective in a 350, which isn't in an RSX.

Haha

The RSX is an awesome car, unfortunately you can't mess with the suspension on it unless you goto type-r parts. Even spoon won't touch it. The Z is alot more of an easier car to mess with but it is more costly. If you want pure power be prepared to spend money as this car was not made for forced induction and FI is really the only logical way to get gobs of power. I would suggest flywheel, pulleys, and 3.9 Final Drive if you want to go fast on the cheap (still around 2k) with this car. Your car will be a track monster with just these mods. After that, breathing mods, cams, and an ECU. I am still debating whether I want ITBs or just stick in an aggressive cam with the 350Evo Intake Manifold and a Greddy Ultimate Emanage.

Why limit yourself to $1500? Mortgage the house, pimp your girlfriend, sell drugs, get a second job and go whole-hog! (Bruce is picturing himself standing in front of the bankruptcy judge, pleading "mod-addiction")

I'd do a combo of some of these to add up to whatever your budget is

JWT clutch/flywheel
UR pulley
JWT intake
crawford cast plenum
crawford strutbar
sway bars
high flow cats or resonated test pipes

Hey don't talk about my secret strategies Bruce!!!

BTW the GF is lowering her $$$$!

I like the other list...

If you think you're going to go nuts, I'd go cat & exhaust. If you do FI it will open a lot of power... I wouldn't swap to the 3.9 if you were going FI, you get GOBS more power, and you may even want to go lower 3.3 etc. (I do)

Breathing will help all future mods. (Cams, FI, etc)
