Clutch "description" interpertation...
just wondering if anyone can help me with interperting these descriptions...
4-Paddle Ceramic Clutch Kits - Rigid Hub
6-Paddle Ceramic Clutch Kits - Rigid Hub
4-Paddle Ceramic Clutch Kits - Sprung Hub
6-Paddle Ceramic Clutch Kits - Sprung Hub
the prices increase top to bottom... 6paddle sprung bieng the most expensive...so I'm gonna assume that's the best one? can anybody help me interpert the paddles / hubs? Can the paddles be synonymous with "pucks"?
these are UnorthodoxRacing Products...
thanks~

a paddle or puck style clutch means material at even points around the outer disk area. These make it harder to slip the clutch but they grip harder.
Solid hub means no springs on the disk itself. Sprung hub ius self explanatory.
For a street driven car, 6 puck, sprung hub would work out great
For an all out drag car (nothing short of that IMHO), a 4 puck solid hub would mean amazing launches, but not streetable at all
