Default check engine light showing misfire

Is it normal to sometimes get a check engine light if you bounce of the rev limiter? I also have cams and the mods listed. Its the P300 something code.

Thanks Glen

I will ask a shop in Michgian, they did all the work on my Z and they know what they are talking about. I will ask them about that code and find out. Nice mods, are you staying N/A, or thinking about FI?

After I had cams installed, it did it every time. I don't know why but it has finally stopped for the time being at least. I kept dropping by the dealership to have it checked and my service manager told me it was the cams. He has a 350z and knows the deal with it. I quit worrying about it. Hope this helps.
