Hmmm, maybe this is true, I dunno

My recent mileage has all been city driving. I expect it will hit close to 25 out on the highway. I haven't tried it in my Z - I'm still on the second tank since getting it new. I will say it is a PITA to measure, carry, and pour in the 6oz of acetone for every 20 gal of fuel. Acetone will damage paint and most other plastics. I eventually found a 6oz plastic container that was unaffected. I also have to wait until it is almost empty so that 20 gallons can be added to keep the concentration correct. My primary benefit is being able to use regular where premium was used before. As I said before, there are gobs of justification and testimonials on this subject on the web. If you're interested, just google it.
I'm willing to try it in my Toyota truck with 160,000 miles first. My main concern is of course ruining my engine. But I don't believe it will be harmed. So what sort of container was it you ended it up with, undrgrnd? Was their a name brand?
It was a clear 6oz bottle that originally used to hold glass cleaner fluid for Xerox copying machines! Glass will work too, but decided against it for safety reasons - acetone is VERY volatile. Another alternative to carrying it with you is to fill up near the house and then add the acetone when you get home. Multiply the number of gallons by 0.3, and that's how much acetone in OUNCES you need to put in.
