Default Aftermarket Parts Survey

I have a friend who owns a fairly extensive shop, including a CNC mill, and he would like to get into the aftermarket parts business. I've seen a lot of posts recently about the removal of the exhaust pre-silencer, and we were thinking of making a bolt-in pipe to replace this section of the exhaust. We are also thinking of incorporating a cut-out into the pipe so you can easily open it up at the track. With ceramic coating it would probably run about 50-75 bucks.
Another idea we have been throwing around is a carbon fiber CAI. Over the X-mas holiday we will probably mock one up in aluminum, and we have a company who can mold us one in carbon fiber. I personally don't like the look of the Injen intake with its bright colored plastic, and I think this will be a much nicer alternative. We also plan on keeping the filter in the stock opening to help prevent hydro-lock. I am not totally sure on pricing for the CAI, but it would probably be comparable to the Injen.
Right now I am just trying to gauge interest on these items. If there is enough interest, once we get some prototypes ready I can post some pics and hopefully dyno #'s to back them up. If you are interested or have any suggestions on things you would like to see, I would like to hear them. Thanks!

I had the center resonator removed over the weekend which allowed me my first look at the underside of the car. There is so much room under there. How about a true dual 3" exhaust with an H pipe to preserve exhaust scavaging and dual 2 chamber mufflers.

Another item for dressing up the engine compartment would be a cover to replace the black one tha is there. I assume people would go for the CF as well as color matched to car.

You have to create a SS cat back with Y-PIPE and FreeFlow Muffler, If you can achive this system that gain at least 15 RWHP for less than $800 bucks I garantee that you sold out the first week.

Thanks for the replies. My friend will be getting back from Cali later this week, so after X-mas we will start working on drawing some things up. A true dual system with either an X or H pipe would probably be optimal. Hopefully by the 2nd week of Jan. we can have something put together and get some dyno sheets / pics / videos.
