Low RPM Help!!!
I had install the vortech supercharger on my car about 9 months ago, but since that time, the RPM goes extreme low to 200. I dont know if this normalm or not?? can anyone give me advise?? Do I need to reflash the ECU or do something else to tune the RPM back to normal?? thanks

Nissan can up your redline using the Consult II tool they have. Although Im not exactly sure if this is what is done for SC cars. I would talk to the shop that did the install and see what they suggest or ask in the Forced Induction Forum.

200 rpm? How did you even manage to take a reading that low?
You may be reading the tach incorrectly. The first minor tick above zero is 500rpm. I'm guessing you're needle sits one tick pass that which would be 600rpm (indicated). Do note, analog tachs are not terribly accurate, so you could in fact be around 650rpm. And that's about where it should be ... between 750 and 650rpm for normal idle.
Are you experiencing any hesistations during idle? If not, i wouldn't worry about it.

Recently had the same after the shop cleaned the air filter on the Vortech.. Problem was poor idle and stalled a couple times..Took it to dealer to raise the rpm and he say's you have a hose loose.. It turns out it was the air breather hose that goes into the back of the filter was off. Had shop reinstall it and car seems to run better and idle is good..
