Well I got everything installed, but there is some play in all gears and in Neutral. You can move it side to side about an 1/8". I believe thats whgy im gettin all the Noise while driving, and its not just a little noise.

To the people who have gotten this, the 2 washers that come with it, do they go inside the little shifter holder, or on the outside in between the bolt and nuts? I wish it wouldve came with some instruction.

Other than that, it shifts are really short and Im happy.

Good to hear, man everybody is telling me about noise with the shifter.. I installed my B&M and have never had a problem with it! Check you install again.

 

tighten the bolt that connects the short shifter to tranny linkage. dont over tighten. tighten slowly until the play is gone then put some threadlock on

 

Ok, I put the stock bolt back in, and tightened pretty tight, and now the noise is gone until 5k rpms. I guess its a start...

 

my rogue will occasionally have some rattle above 5k

if you grab the shifter when it's doing it, you can feel the vibration and it'll quiet it down.

still, you don't buy a race shifter expecting it to be quiet, especially when they warn you on their site

 

I bought it knowing there was going to be rattles and vibes, so that expected. BUT, it came with 2 washers, and I was wondering where they go.
