Default question about raising the rev limiter

When you raise the rev limiter up to 7100-7200 rpm should you get aftermarket valve springs? Thanks, Kurt

TS set mine up to 7100, and no valve float. I haven't bumped the rev limiter since my ECU was flashed.

Theres a guy on there running 7400 limiter and I am pretty sure he doesnt have aftermarket springs... Someone from performance nissan can validate that... iam pretty sure they worked hand N hand on that particular car.

No you dont need them. I frequently hit 7100 limiter @ the track and have no issues at all with valvetrain. Check out the in-car vid in my signature you can hear me slam limiter a bunch of times warming up the slicks in the water box....

Hey Alberto when u take the car to 7100rpm... does the car feel like its gonna explode or something. Because I was going to get a TS reflash soon and I don't want to put any strain on the engine. Also I have a 5AT.. would it make a difference if I get a reflash.
