Did B & M ever fix the rattle on their shifter?

Did B & M ever fix the rattle on their shifter?
I currently have Rogue shifter and I like it but I want a shifter with shorter throw.
I had a wannabe B&M(from Ebay) before I got Rogue shifter and it was pretty good. It had really short throw like B&M but it made really annoying rattle and after a while I got sick of it so I took it out.
My current shifter (Rogue) is a great shifter but doesn't have real short throw like B&M its not as short as B&M.
I know B&M had an issue with rattle in their earlier production.
Does anyone know if they ever fix the problem?
