Cause the engine movement is some minimal.

odd, I've read that the VQ in the Z has a lot of movement when the car is in motion at WOT.

Can't have much movement or the plenum would rub on the strut tower brace.

Maybe in the stock configuration what won't happen, but for those of us with a 1/2" spacer it does happen. I have less than 1/8" clearance between the plenum and strut bar, even with double spacers under the strut bar mounts.

UPDATE: Ingalls is in the last and FINAL stages of R&D the kit is on one vehicle right now being tested and checking for issues. Keep an eye open and look for some great products to be released for the 350Z in the future. Thanks for the support and willingness to keep an interest in this product. You will be very happy once you see the kit. BUMP!

Its Ingalls....They make solid products. I bought their camber correction kit for my civic way back when. Whatever they manufacture, it will blow the competition away. I'd pay that much for a product from them.

Ingalls already had a test Z and decided there wasn't enough movement of the engine to warrant development. Look at the posts by Robert_K just above you. He and I were the ones working with Ingalls in trying to get this finalized on the Z.

I am sitting in an office WORKING at INGALLS right now. Trust me the engine needed it. The first response in-reguards to the 350z not needing a ETD is company for we dont have time/this car isnt #1 on the list right now. The new piece is so nice and works very well. keep an eye on this thread.

When I was the R&D car Rob and his team told me that the Engine doesn't move that much to need a ETD. After return from Vactiona dn Iraq I tried contacted Rob and got no response. Sorry but I have a bad taste in my mouth about Ingalls. I'm sure thier product are great but after driving 2 hours there waited for 3-4hrs and than driving home 2hrs and never hearing back Pisses me off.

Robert the last two months that Rob was here no work got done. Rob no longer works for Ingalls for the reason you listed above. He never kept R&D guys filled in. Ill do this for you Robert, send me an email to grant@ingallseng.com with your phone number and mailing info. As soon as the piece is ready for sale I will send you one free of charge. Sound good?

Wow! That's Customer Service!!! I'm glad to hear Rob no longer works at Ingalls. There was always something fishy to me about him. If you need me, or my car, for any more R&D please let me know.

Rob @ Ingalls wasted my time, ripped me off, and f*cked my dog....does that warrant a free engine damper too? hahahahah jk.

Holy crap. I was looking at that pic, and it looks like there is a huge brace across the front of the motor. Is that part of the ETD setup?

Ingalls is on my bad side. I was their first R&D car. Drove 2 1/2hrs up there, spent 4+ hrs waiting while they measured my car, and never heard back. Sorry but they need better customer service skills imo.

Congrats to you though!!!
