Default Possible tranny alternative for future

I was bored as all hell at work, usual situation (almost ashamed to accept money for this , ALMOST) so I was digging through internet for various junk and stumble upon this:

http://www.enonvativforce.com/close_gear.htm

Scroll to the bottom of the page. Is this like one of those SMGs found in M3 or some completely non-streetable moster?
What do yo think, if it took them THIS long to make it for Supra and RX7, how long will to make one for us? And how much do you think this bad boy would run?
Yeah, I'm that bored....

Well, coun't put the crazy idea to rest and actually called OS Giken people. The tranny's bell housing may be modified to fit the Z, but the tranny alone is close to 10G, not to mention the costum work and labor...
I am putting it to rest now.

I do not know of any. Its expencive as all hell. Maybe for what the usual power goals are cheaper options (like nismo) would do fine... And, if you noticed, few FI people ever do replace their diffs, I don't know why.

Although the 350evo people (that's where you,ve seen it, no?) is a professional racing team and reqirements for a streetable car do not apply to them. About a year back, when I was still upto my ears in the car project, before my condo project took over, I spoke to them in regards to that LSD (was looking into a 6MT rear swap). As I understood their recommendation, there are no advantages to using this on a street car as opposed to using a Nismo piece, and the price difference is close to 700$. That is probably why you see so few of these around.
It probably is good for like 1300 whp (like that tranny of theirs). Although the Performance Motorsports people claim to have run the Nismo diff on 1600whp, so who knows... 1300... 1600... Might as well be a million as far as I'm concerned. Overkill.
Still one hell of a diff....
