Default Unorthodox Pulley Install

Waterpump pulley!

Underdrive pulley

Ready for the belts and button everything back up....

Finished install! Time for a cold one...

Well, folks time to report out!

The install was done at Inwood Auto Care here in Houston Texas. Danny Hajovsky is the owner and a good friend of mine for the last 10 years. He has helped me out with many of my projects over the years. Nice to know someone with all the tools, lifts and the experience to make the job easier to accomplish.

However, this project was a challenge when it came to installing all three pulleys. The long bolt in the alternator required us to remove the cooling fans, which slowed thing down somewhat. With impact tools breaker bar and know how he was able to completed the job in 1-1/2 hours.

Now the big, big question, can you feel the difference?

Hell yeah!

The throttle response and the RPM’s are definitely quicker on acceleration. The car squats down more in the back-end when shifting to second. I also notice the temperature gage seems to run a little cooler as well. I did a lot of research before making this decision and I recommend everyone do the same. I will continue to monitor and report back as time goes by to keep everyone informed.

Do the stock belts still fit, or do you have to buy special belts now?

Yes, this mod will require two different size belts, which must be purchased separately if bought directly through Unorthodox. Belt number sizes is noted in the installation directions.

Not sure, the temp gauge needle is down lower than the normal setting before the install.
