Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have had issues with a pulley's bearings going bad and causing drag on the belt which makes it squeak and wear out faster? I have belt shavings all over the engine compartment and can smell it after a drive. I sprayed some lubricant behind the pulleys onto the shafts and into the bearing housings two days ago and it's back today This has been going on for quite some time now, and frankly its a bit embarrassing as my Honda doesn't do this and thats my beater. Or is the Z my beater? Does this sound familiar to anyone - Pully bearings going out?
