Default Blew an AC BELT at 29K

Yep just went to the dealer--- should have fixed it myself-- they wanted $131 to fix it -- got them down to $70 with labor.

Go figure 3 years and one month later my car blows a belt.

This happen to anyone else or is it my luck? -- just like the dry rot trim around my windshield a few months ago.............

Southern hot weather destroys rubber very quick. It is expected especially if not parked inside. All tha Arizona sun does have some drawbacks.

I would expect that but the car is garage kept. Also, my wife's Honda Civic is in the sun twice as much and has no sign of dry rot.

But it is true.......... 310+ days of sun has drawbacks.

hope u dont put rubber/vinyl/armorall shiners on those components often, that's what causes premature cracking and wear, expecially in hot locations.
