Assuming all reputable vendors heat treat pulleys for maximum strength(?). I bet a tough finish increases durability. You certainly don't want them to wear at all (poor powder coating). Wouldn't polished or satin finish be the most durable?

Found it.
9.) COMMERCIAL/PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL
No commercial or promotional materials or links in posts and signatures. Any posts or signatures that can be competition of our sponsors or MY350Z.COM, or obvious traffic stealing posts "may" be removed without notice. Understand that we have sponsors paying money for advertising.
Now I feel sorta responsible for asking CNR to chime in on their product. I hope they don't have a bad impression of this forum because their post keep getting deleted. Personally I don't get it but then again... I don't make the rules here.

I've tried the phone & e-mails with no response - Will those of you who have spoken to them, please nail down all the specifics for "G" "Z" & "FX35" owners? ...weight, contact name, Price, etc. - How's $100 Shipped sound? Let's do this folks!
LOL. PINITI calm down a bit... I'm expecting a call from the owner of CNR tonight. Send me a PM regarding all your questions or even a good contact phone number for you and I'll do my best to pass it on. As far as getting the pulley kits for $100 shipped.... I wouldn't bet on it.

A brandX pulley without its Vendor documenting their manufacturing or qualification process is risky. Breaking a belt could toast your $6k motor. There should be early warning cracks, so check it often.

I'd be interested in a group buy for the complete set...http://www.cnrbillet.com/catalog/ -> their website says $175 for the set!

Breaking a engine belt on the Z & G motor is not going to break the engine. If an engine belt broke you will have a hot engine because the water pump pulley will not circulating water anymore. Secondly a broken engine belt will drain the battery and you will soon have a dead car because the alternator will not be turning to recharge the batteries. Our engines have internal cam timing chains that are unaffected by broken engine belts. Toyotas and Honda on the other hand have belts to run their cam timing which are called timing belts. If a timing belt broke on one of these Hondas or Toyotas then you will have a very expensive $$$ repair bill.
