Mix and match or go one branded route?
There's is so much parts out there for the 350z, its AMAZING at how much stuff you guys got out there unlike for my eclipse "kinda annoying"....anyways, Is it better to mix and match parts or just use one brand for most of the modifications....
Example for mix and match: borla headers, unlimited tuning y pipe, stillen exhaust system, so on and so forth.....
or one branded like: everything nismo....camshafts, exhaust, cai....blah blah blah...
which would be better?or is it just preference!
would you get lets say 280whp overall from just using one brand unlike when you mix and match you get about 250 whp because the parts dont match up nicely with other parts.
thanks

mix and match is the way to go. a company that specializes in intakes might not make the best y-pipe for our car. example: JWT makes debatedly the best intake for our car while test pipes can go to kinetix or say Helix. Youll get the hang of whats what just by looking around the forums and seeing what has worked for other people.
There are several criteria that you can use in your search.
1. Budget
2. Specifications such as do I want test pipes with or without hangers. I want an intake, but where do I want the location of the filter.
Search by budget, needs, and functionality. You will be fine.
