whats a tp? u mean cat-back? he can have a cat back for half that, less if he buys it used. utec is over 1000, reflash is 600. youre forgetting to factor installation and tuning in the cost.

assuming he doesnt install anything the exhaust would be 1hr labor, headers 4-6, utec 1 hr+tuning(~2-3HRS roughly 300). crank pulley 1.5, final drive gears i have no idea but definitely pricey.

keep in mind that there is more to the cost than just the parts themselves, dont forget to factor installation.

if i were to do it all over again the only parts i would install is a test pipe (stock headers and cat back), remove the resonator on the stock cat back (free mod), crank pulley (ur <200), and a nice set of drag radials on the rear. this would cost u less than 1000, give u an extra 10whp, and make it stick for all those sick launches you will do.

ive been there with all of the other mods u mentioned (exc the final drive) and they just arent worth the money.

I can say from experience that the motordyne plenum spacer is one of the best mods for you car for the cost and you can install it yourself

This is gearing up to be another one of those great threads. The OP is jerking everyone's chain. Most everyone figured it out. Look at his sig, he claims to already have exhaust, intake, spacer, engine management, headers, y-pipe, flywheel, clutch, coilovers, 'pully', Varis air duct, and an S2000 (shorty, I assume). And NOW, he wants help on how to spend 'abut' $3K so he can get off 'to' the right foot. I guess the mods thus far were from Santa so they didn't cost anything. I can't believe people actually take these morons seriously.
