Default NISMO Wing

Hey guys!
I am looking into getting the NISMO wing. Is if functional? Does it elimate lift like the stock wing or does it create downforce? If the latter, will it help performance or adversely affect it unless I add the whole kit to keep the 'balance'?

Thanks!

if you look at the wing placement and the design, its mostly for show anyway. if you want any 'clean' downforce, the way the car is shaped, youll have to place the wing much higher than the stock wing.. think 8 inches up the rear deck lid...

as far as the rest of the kit, you'll most likely get better stability with a front/rear underside diffuser to get a lower pressure sucking under neath the car than to add gobs of cf / frp from a wing up top.

simple test it to plop like a few table spoons of yogurt (non acidic food) on the top of the rear wing/lid and drive down a street.. if it moves (at all) you can see (as an example) of how much force the air is affecting it... dont go out and claim some stupid bernoulli principle on me or anything like that. youll know its wind rather than gravity pushing it, if it fans outward...
