After torqueing them down nicely, use an impact gun at about 100ft/lbs and blast away. You will not break anything.

Please tell me you are using new flywheel bolts.

so after i tq them to the specs, hit them with the impact?

no, i was told by JWT that i didnt need to get new bolts, i was gonna buy some from performance, but i was told not to, he told me to use some red loctite, and tighten em down, and they will be fine.

I think he meant get them on decently tight, then hit it up to 100ft/lbs of torque. Oh, and might as well get new bolts!

Correct. New bolts are a good idea, especially if you have reused then more than once.

The crank is forged 4340 chromoly and I promise you wont break that or the flywheel by using an impact. Just get the bolts decently tight, then hit it with the impact at "about" 100ft/lbs in a star pattern.

There should be instructions with the flywheel. It outlines a 2 step install torque sequence.
