Default AAM reflash update!

Well I made the drive up to AAM so Mike could find out why the reflash was not making the power it should.First he made some pulls with the mailorder reflash, then flashed back to stock and made some pulls. After getting the baselines he then saw the power was not as it should have been on the original reflash. He then went to town on making a custom reflash for my 350Z after trying a few things he was getting little results.Mike really took his time to do this right which lead to him finding the low power problem all along on the original reflash.Seems my knock sensor was picking up some stuff that was not real knock cause I have had this car ran on the dyno by NLP and there was no detonation present and like wise on AAM's dyno.He then made some adjustments and wow picked right up.Appearently with the computer thinking there was a knock issue it was setting the timing back so I was not seeing the added timing from the reflash. The dyno graphs speak for itself, all runs were done uncorrected so the power is not as high as it shows but shows the same day tuning gains. So the reflash really works and look at the torque yea baby!Car feels really strong and gets passing on the highway done real easy in 6th gear.Mike has a great full service facility there and I had a great time having Mike show me around all the 350Z and G's getting turbos and superchargers installed. The CNC machine on site was cool cause that was the first time I had seen one.AAM is about to release some cool stuff for us and I got to see the prototypes .I wish I could say what they are but I'll keep my mouth shut and let them handle that. The guy's are great and really took great care of me and the car and I really enjoyed meeting Mike.Keep up the R&D for the 350Z and G's Mike and if I need anything you will be my first call. Thanks sorry everyone for sounding like a rambler but this was a great experience!
Thanks

thats good to hear. I've been contemplating a reflash and I was worried by your previous post about no getting any gains from the AAM reflash. I'm glad to hear that everything worked out. However I am still concerned for myself being that I can't very well drive to AAM from Hawaii if I run into a similar situation as you did. But it is good to hear that Mike and AAM take care of their customers.
