Default Diff whine when coasting

Stock gears and diff, with 50K miles. I switched to Royal Purple about 3k miles ago. I left the track and was going home and noticed a whine from the diff when ever i coast while in gear, and i can barely hear it when i'm in neutral coasting. On the freeway you can't hear it because of road noise but at 40-45 i would let off with it in 4th and then you can hear it. Not really loud but noticable...

Should i even bother with the stealership?

yeah, I'm really more worried that i will eventually loose the tranny, I kick it and rip it pretty hard at the track... Oh well good thing about having 100K mi warranty...

I'm almost positive its the diff, but really and truely i'm not too worried, but I was mainly curious is the dealer would just pass it off as normal or actually take it seriously...
