VLSD question
Did a search and did not see this.
Is there any difference between the G35 sedan 6mt vlsd/stubs and the 350z 6mt vlsd/stubs can it be swapped part for part or is there a difference that would be a problem. I have a base and need an vlsd and need to kow if i can put in a G35 sedan vlsd?
Do you think that a g35 sedan with 24000 and has been to the track would put more stress on the vlsd than a 350z due too weight and geometry? And what does a vlsd do when it starts to go bad?

Nope they are all the same...
G35 Coupe or Sedan w/ VLSD 3.5 has the same output shafts / stub axles as the 350Z...
3.5 open rear end (base model) has different...
3.3 rear end has different...
You can use the Sedan VLSD no problem... They can be swapped between the cars...
I dont have my parts system at home, but I am 99% sure they have the same part numbers for the complete assembly's as well...

350Z Base also needs G35 vlsd output shafts?
Good information. I've found a vlsd pumpkin from a 2006 G35Coupe 6MT, and I plan on installing it into my 2007 350Z base. What parts do I need to make this bolt in? I just need some clarification before i purchase the pumpkin.
Will I need the G35 Pumpkin only?
Or the G35 pumpkin and the G35 output shafts?
Or do I need the 350Z vlsd output shafts to fit the G35 pumpkin?
In other words, will my 350Z open differential output shafts mate into the vlsd G35 pumpkin (plug and play)?
