7100rpm for tracking with stock internal?
Hey guys.
I'm getting my Utec fitting soon, But need to know if anyone have heard any problem to Rise the Rev limiter on my 2003 track to 7200rpm and do tracking.
Will i damaged the engine more if i go to track with 7000/7200rpm?
Thanks
Yun

I know that Technsquare runs a 7100 ecu tune for our cars and 7500 for the REV-UP motors. However, if you plan on tracking the car make sure to NOT advance the timing too much above 6200-6500 as it can possibly pop

so when you saying advance the timing too much as from the stock timing? I guess i'll mention it to my Tuner and make a different map for Track and street with 7100rpm.

if you repeatedly go to 7100 while tracking on a road course, you 'll probably blow the engine
ditto if you're going for a high speed run to 160mph at 7100 redline - at least if you do it a lot over a short amount of time
