I have a damaged Evap Canister and the CEL is on. I have the part on order, but is it not recommended to drive with my Z in this condition?

 

it wont hurt anything to drive it,we have customers who come in to get the check eng lite checked out with the code thats been stored for months.

The Amuse exhaust actually. When I installed it I don't remember it being close to the exhaust, but I guess it finally melted part of it. I looked this up and it is because the amuse is made for the japanese Z which does not have an evap canister. What is weird is that I've had the exhaust in for about 6 months before I was notified with a CEL.

 

too bad same problem here
