Default JIC Magic Strut Bar + AAM Plenum Spacer

The question is simple:

Will the JIC Magic Strut Bar fit if I have an AAM plenum spacer?

Will I have a clearance problem?

Thx.

The JIC bar fits over the top of the plenum. There is little room between the plenum and hood. Bars such as the APS will definately fit.

Thanks Rick, but I already have the AAM spacer.

David, I know that the strut bar fits over the plenum. Will the bar bolt down to the towers if I have a spacer?

I have the same spacer that you do and I have the aluminum version of the JIC strut bar... Fits great, you just have to put a few washers on.

Any STB that fits in place of stock will fit with the AAM spacer. It is designed to keep the stock stut bar with washers so any aftermarket will fit with washers...

Bobby,

Alberto is correct. The angled design is supposed to let you maintain the factory strut. From what I can tell the JIC appears to be even thinner then stock. (I have the stock bar and the AAM plenum spacer myself) SO you should have no problems.

FYI: when they say designed to fit, you still need the washers to give a little bit of clearance between the plenum and the bar.
