As with nearly every other Japanese tuner, HKS has been hard at work with the Nissan 350Z. They've already developed a full line of hardware including a cat-back exhaust, forged connecting rods, forged pistons, billet camshafts, adjustable head gaskets, multi-disk clutch ahttp://overboost.com/picture.asp?a=1029&i=DSC04716.JPGnd even a 450 horsepower "crate" engine.

I believe the 450hp otor is just for the Race version of the z. I wouldn't be surpsirsed if it was $30k-50k easy. It is just like some started the rumor that the race car was only $75k. The car has air jacks. The is between $125k and $175k.

The "rumor" about it being $75K came from road and track Magazine. It may be wrong, but it's not as if it was just made up.

 

The next month road and track corrected themselves about stating the car was $75k.
