Having read a lot of the trials and tribulations of the transmisson saga, I have a question. Aside from fighting with Nissan (less the warranty) has anyone had their transmission rebuilt by a pro shop? I ask this due in part when I was younger and a motor head, me and my fellow street car enthusiasts would alway be tinkering with the motor or drive train. I had a 70 Chevelle that I dropped the OEM tranny and had a pro shop install rock crusher gears and syncro's into which drasticly improved the reliablity and performance of the tranny (not to mention much better clutch and disk). Do they make after market kits to do the same to the 350 tranny? I would think with all the racing and drifting that someone has looked into this?
