I'm doing some work on the motor of my Z and while I'm in there I need to swap out a couple of the lifters. The sizes I need are 8.18 and 8.20. Nissan says there is a "national backorder: of these parts and it might take months.

Does anyone have an idea where I might find them? Thanks for any help.

 

Are the lifters you are replacing too tight, or too loose? If they are too tight, you can machine them down slightly from the back side.

 

why do you need to replace them? did you do a big cam install? i have an extra set of followers, will look and see if i have those part #'s for ya.

 

Thanks for the help. I just ordered some that were a little bigger and I'll have them machined down.
