Default resonator removal, where and how?

Hello fellow z owners. I've already searched and didn't get a clear answer on this subject. I want to get it done as my goal is to make the z sound louder/better without spending big bucks. So where should I go and will the people at the place I go most likely know exactly what to do? And what's the best pipe to replace it with?

Thanks

Have a muffler shop cut it... simply have them replace it with 2 1/4 inch piping.

Very simple job.

fly-

Evil is correct.

If you just want to remove the resonator, a good muffler can do the work for you.

Do you guys know if the pitch is higher after the silencer is removed? B/c thats my main concern...i wouldn't mind it being a bit louder...however i won't stand for a higher pitched tone.

You can't really tell inside the car. Its such an easy mod, and is so cheap, if you don't like, just simply put it back on. All it is, is just louder and more aggressive. Try, what do you have to loose, $40. There are sound clips, if you don't have luck doing a search, try typing in Presilencer, pre-silencer.

I went to the muffler shop today and he said to not do it because they only had iron piping or something and that it will rust out in a year or 2; I went to another one and they had stainless steel; i'm starting a new post on this
