Default Pulley Install Q

I have 5AT, How do I keep the pulleys from spinning, while I'm trying to get the bolt off?

I placed a leather glove finger around a screwdriver (to keep from scratching the engine) and pushed it thru the pulley against the block.

Thats basically what you have to do. I did the same thing but it was a little easier for me since I have access to a lift.

Mine was jammed like no others. I went throught 2 screwdrivers (bent all out of hell) and snapped 2 rachet extentions. I finally got the bolt off after jamming a wrench and putting enormous amount of torque power (with 2 feet pipe), and now can't get the crank off.... any suggestions?

lightly tap it a few times with a rubber mallet. if that doesn't work, borrow a pulley puller
