I had seen a website offering crate VQ35 engines in both short and long block versions and some with extensive modifications. The site also sold other bolt-on components such as exhausts, headers, plenums, pulleys, etc. I thought I had the site bookmarked but that is not the case and I can't seem to re-locate this site after many searches. I believe the owner is some guru who had worked for someone else and then decided to open his own 350Z speed shop and offer mail order products. He was very helpful and responded twice to two emails I send him seeking advice about the horsepower gain for headers, hi-flow cats, true dual exhaust, bottom plenum spacer, CAI, grounding kit, and an aluminum flywheel. Does any of this ring a bell? Any help in steering me in the right direction to finding this web site will be appreciated.

well, for built crate engines (both long and short block) you can check out http://www.builtzmotors.com/ he is a member of the forums IIRC

the site you might be talking about could be www.sgpracing.com... they sell all the stuff you mentioned as well as having a whole section on the website for built motors
