has anyone had the shifter just brake in half? i have had the shifter since it first came out about 2 years ago. and saturday when i got into the car and put it in first gear to leave work the damn thing just broke in half where the threads are (all the way down at the bottom of the threads) now i have to get a new shift **** and shifter.

does anyone know how long b&m warranties there stuff against defects? like i stated i have had it 2 years and have since lost my paperwork on it

 

They have a million mile warranty. Talk to B & M or who ever you bought it from. Are you positive it is not a knock off like TopSpeed or some EBay part?

Why do you need a new shift ****? Can't you EZ Out the broken portion of the shifter from your old ****?

 

I would have loved to see your face as you held the upper portion of the shifter in your hands while looking down at it.

 

no it was a b&m shifter. i was one of the first ones to buy one. there was a group buy for like 10 of us for like 139 dollars. the thread is so old i cant find it

i got my b&m broken just like your, mine was over twist the shift ***. B&M sent me a new one because i had the reciept. i believe b&m shifter has life time warranty.

For the shift ***, bring it to home depot, they have a tool to take the thread out. I bought the tool for $20.

 

i just talked to b&m. they want me to send them mine and i have to have a reciept. i cant give them eithe thing ....guess im going to have to buy another
