vq30 with vq35 rod,crank,piston....??

Default vq30 with vq35 rod,crank,piston....??

I want to built a short block ,and a want to know if a can use a vq30de block and sleeve it for vq35 size piston,after market rod and stock crank with vq35 head! thanks !

The rumor is yes since the 3L/3.5L blocks are nearly identical, however nobody has bored a 3L block that much so water/oil passages/whatever might be an issue.

Definitely let me know if you do....
