Default what the hell is wrong with my car?

okay first off, when i got my car delivered from Scott Performance about 3 months ago, everything was running fine. Power could have never been better! but however, after about 2 months of driving i noticed significant power loss and hesitation. when i called and asked ted about this, he said that when my car made 312rwhp on their dastek load based dyno, it was using race gas. he stated that maybe the power loss was due to using the crappy 91 octane that we have here in california. so i decided to fill up on 100 octane and on my way driving home i decide to give it some gas. i redline 1st and 2nd and then come to a stop. THE CAR JUST DIES! i was thinking at first that maybe i just had forgot to depress the clutch while in a gear, so i decid to try and replicate the problem. it happens AGAIN! the car just seemlessly dies with all sorts of lights on my dash. sorry for the ranting but my question is : "why does it keep dying and could this be related to the 2003 models where they had a defective hitachi sensor? any info on this TSB or information on my car is greatly appreciated. Thanks for all of your guy;s help!

also i wanted to let you guys know that i 37,000 miles and am already done with the warranty, even though i pretty much waved bye bye to that when i had the cams put in. does anyone think that the cams have anything to do with it? or maybe the ECU? was also wondering if the dealer will replace the engine sensor even if you are past warranty. any input is always greatly GREATLY appreciated. thanks!

After you redline second, do you quickly through it in neutral? If so that could be your problem. For some reason, some cars (mine included), will quickly die if the gear is thrown into neutral when going above 50 mph. I believe the maf sensor has something to do with it, because it happened as soon as I put on my intake.

yeah, but i've had the intake on for more than 2 1/2 years, so i'm guessing that this can't be the problem. do you think it has anything to do with the TSB involving the engine crank sensor?

Sorry to hear that bro. If I were you, I'd just take it back to Ted & have him take a quick look at it to make sure everything is in order. At this point, it could be anything from a simple part coming loose between the time you picked up your car & when it started acting up. Good luck & keep us posted!

HKS intake is giving me problem too. My car stalled when i put it in neutral when I rev the engine over 4k and put gear in neutral. It also stalls when i start the engine w/o stepping on the clutch.
I put the stock back on, engine doesn't stall over 4k when i tested in 4th gear and put it back neutral but engine still stalls when i restart it.
