Hopefully someone will do a before and after dyno run on the HKS DLI. I would like to see the results.
Regarding two step launch, the hardware is ready for it but they havnt done the software? Is that the case?

The map switch has the clutch pedal sensor connector part on it already.

Nissan recommends 100K mile, but NA I melted a grounding strap to the elctrode in a cylinder of course causing a nasty misfire. Long story shot I swapped to 50K and the plugs looked like DEATH! Car felt much better with the new plugs. Id say 40-50K miles swap em, for the money and the easy install its a small price to pay for keeping the engine running strong.

I concur, my plugs were white. BTW $499 was the price at Z1, not including shipping, which was like $15.

Ok, from the sites I've seen (including HKS), it looked like you had to buy an application specific harness separately. Thanks for clearing that up.

i never knew this part existed or that our engines were direct injection

what gapped plugs are on the market to match with this HKS unit, or do you have to gap the plugs yourslef?

I gapped my plugs at .045. Again, my undersatnding is the the Sun system helps with getting lost volts to the plugs whereas the HKS system magnifies the signal to the plugs. And I gapped the new Iridiums myself.

William...you're not the only ones that has them

The harness is necessary - you cannot install it without it.

I'll be doing a before/after dyno on my car in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. I have a DLI II sitting here waiting to be installed
