Default Comments on clutch pedal feel with ACT, Spec, and RPS...

Can anyone comment on how stiff the clutch pedal is with the ACT, RPS, and Spec clutches compared to the stock one? Also, where does the engagement point start compared to stock? higher, around the same....lower???

I have RPS street max clutch and their flywheel.

Engagment is smoother than stock IMO since it engages over a longer distance (as opposed to the top two inches on stock). The clutch engages much lower than stock as well. IMO it is easier to drive smoothly.

The drawback is about 40-50% stiffer pedal. But the clutch grabs great and at 420whp there is no sign of slippage at all.

I wonder how the JWT compares to your RPS? Which handles more torque?

RPS handles much more trq than the JWT. THe JWT pedal feels nearly stock. RPS feels about 30% stiffer, IMHO. ACT feels a little bit lighter than RPS.

Honestly, none of these clutches are brutally stiff. I think you will really appreciate the engagement, and positive feel of a slightly stiffer clutch. Let me know if I can help.

What are the TQ capacities of the JWT, RPS sport/max, Spec stage 2 or 2+, and ACT?

Im looking for a clutch that wont be too hard on my foot...I wouldnt mind it a hair stiffer than stock, but not too stiff.
I would also like the clutch pedal distance to decrease, with smooth engagement.
I plan on running a the TN ST kit, and might be building the engine in about 6 months or so...I do alot of drifting, so I would like for something to be easy to use while drifting on my legs, ankles, knees, while still grabbing hard.
Anyone know which clutch will be best for my case? It seems like the JWT and ACT are pretty popular with the Z guys, and matching my characteristics...
I have heard great things about RPS clutches from the supra guys, but I dont know if its going to be too stiff or not.
I had a Spec clutch in my 240sx(SR20 tranny) and I liked it, but never could compare it to stock...
